The Eugene Larks were a class-D minor league baseball, club based in Eugene, Oregon. The team played in Far West League and was an affiliate of the Pittsburgh Pirates in 1951. The team was preceded in Eugene by the 1904 Eugene Blues, who played in the Oregon State League. The Eugene Larks disbanded after the 1951 season. The city would be without a team until the Eugene Emeralds began play in 1955.

The Wichita Aviators were a professional indoor football team that played in the American Professional Football League (APFL). The Aviators played their home games in Britt Brown Arena at the Kansas Coliseum during the team's first season (2005). In 2006, the Aviators played their home games at the Wichita Ice Center in Wichita, Kansas. The Wichita Aviators and Kansas Koyotes were both owned by APFL founder Ralph Adams. Carl Caldwell was the head coach of the Aviators, and Mike McCoy was the General Manager.

The Jersey Larks were a One-Year Wonder that played in the Eastern Hockey League during the winter of 1960-61. The Larks were the first pro sports tenant of the Haddonfield Ice House, erected in 1959. The building was better known in later years as Cherry Hill Arena. The Larks finished their debut season in 3rd place in the EHL’s Northern Division with a 24-39-1 record.
