Description: In 1973 Rosenhan and his pals conducted a number of psychological experiments to determine the validity of diagnosis of mental patients. They sent participants to various mental hospitals who all complained of the same symptoms, (hearing voices). None of them were actually insane but all were diagnosed with schizophrenia.
