Viejo (Old) San Juan is the oldest settlement city in Puerto Rico. Puerto Rico is a territory of the USA located in the Caribbean South East of Dominican Republic. First construction began in 1521. Founded by Ponce de Leon. The city is a wonderful walkable town filled with colorful homes, plants, old churches, the governors house, a fort and a castle, a huge wall surrounding the whole thing that is 500 years old! And so many cats because of the wonderful animal rescue there called Save-A-Gato. You can take tours at the fort and the castle and enjoy shopping, dining and drinking at the many local establishments. If you love history, this place is a must-see. If you have been there before, this art is for you!
