Opportunity Mars Rover | A Space Fanart Illustration Magnet

$3.75 $4.75
Description: This world has gone to the robots! Space probes fly over it, rovers drive on it, and together we are all mapping it. The Curiosity rover has been exploring Mars for over 6 years, much longer than it's 90-day expected mission. Celebrate this amazing machine and explore Mars in style with art by Austin Hinderliter. All proceeds support science research and education.
Description: "My battery is low, and it's getting dark" is the poetic last communication from The Opportunity Rover, which landed on Mars for a 90 day mission planned by NASA. Fourteen years later, as a planet-wide dust storm began to rage, Opportunity sent its last transmission, full of telemetry and other data. But, that wasn't enough for the Internet. Soon, people with an eye for surprising success and fantastic information and in gratitude they translated what turned out to be Opportunity's last transmission into a frankly, quite lovely and poetic farewell. My battery is low, and it's getting dark. Little Oppy, you said it. A better description of my own life and experience, I don't know.
