Chepstow Castle in Monmouthshire, Wales, standing above a crossing point on the River Wye, is one of the oldest castles in Britain and it boasts the oldest doors in Europe! Building began in 1067 under William Fitz Osbern, forming the southernmost in a chain of castles guarding the Welsh Marches. It was later used in the conquest of Gwent in the 12th century. "Gimmick movies" have been around since the early days of cinema, back when cinema itself was still new, and considered pretty gimmicky all by itself. The gimmicks ranged from innovative storytelling techniques to outlandish marketing tie-ins, from genuine examples of ingenuity to flat-out lies. And for every gimmick that took off - like synchronized sound, widescreen filmmaking, or 3D - there are plenty that only worked once or twice before audiences caught on and realized that they were duped, or at least that there were very few practical applications for the gimmick in question.

The Last Man on Earth is a 1964 post-apocalyptic science fiction horror film based on the novel I Am Legend by Richard Matheson and stars Vincent Price and Franca Bettoia. This is an impressionistic movie poster based on that story.
