Remembering the Dick Van Dyke Show. The Dick Van Dyke Show was an American television sitcom that initially aired on CBS from October 3, 1961, to June 1, 1966, with a total of 158 half-hour episodes spanning five seasons. The show was created by Carl Reiner and starred Dick Van Dyke, Rose Marie, Morey Amsterdam, Larry Mathews, and Mary Tyler Moore. The series won 15 Emmy Awards. In 1997 the episodes "Coast-to-Coast Big Mouth" and "It May Look Like a Walnut" were ranked at 8 and 15 respectively on TV Guide's 100 Greatest Episodes of All Time.

This illustration celebrating Swamp Thing, my absolute favorite hero in the comic book world, was created using pencil, pen and ink, watercolor, and digital mediums. I want to give 100% inspirational credit to the original 70s Swamp Thing creators Bernie Wrightson and Len Wein, and then Alan Moore, John Totleben, and Steve Bissette for beautifully reinventing the series in the 80s.

V for Vendetta is a 2005 dystopian political action film directed by James McTeigue (in his feature directorial debut) from a screenplay by the Wachowskis. It is based on the 1988 DC Comics limited series of the same name by Alan Moore and David Lloyd. The film is set in an alternative future where a Nordic supremacist and neo-fascist totalitarian regime has subjugated the United Kingdom. It centres on V (portrayed by Hugo Weaving), an anarchist and masked freedom fighter who attempts to ignite a revolution through elaborate terrorist acts, and Evey Hammond (portrayed by Natalie Portman) a young, working-class woman caught up in V's mission. Stephen Rea portrays a detective leading a desperate quest to stop V.
