Law's primary military specialty is Military Police, and his secondary military specialty is intelligence. He served in Houston's Fifth Ward a police officer for two years but wanted a more fulfilling way to serve, so he enlisted as an MP with his German shepherd, Order. Law is trained as a dog handler and possesses a natural affinity for animals, and he is additionally Airborne qualified.
Description: His real name is Edwin C. Steen, and his rank is that of sergeant E-5. Lifeline was born in Seattle, Washington. Lifeline's primary military specialty is medic. Lifeline spent five years as a paramedic with the Seattle Fire Department, until he learned that EMS personnel could not collect their pensions if they became disabled while giving aid when they are not on duty. Since he figured that rescue personnel were never actually off-duty, he decided to instead join the army as a medic. Lifeline is also an avowed pacifist; he's a black belt in 'aikido', the martial art of directing violent energy away from oneself.

Specializing in violence and destruction, the Dreadnoks have no regard for anyone or anything but themselves and fast money. Their diet consists of little more than chocolate-covered donuts and grape soda.
Description: His real name is Brian M. Forrest and he holds the rank of Petty Officer Second Class (E-5). Wet Suit was born in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Wet Suit knew from an early age he wanted to join the Navy and enlisted upon his graduation from high school. He eventually applied for SEAL training, was accepted and completed arguably the military's toughest training program. Like any other SEAL, Wet Suit gained a reputation for being tough and mean, though many instructors considered him the toughest and meanest. Seeking even greater challenges, Wet Suit signed on to the G.I. Joe Team.

His primary military specialty was medical doctor and his secondary military specialty was chaplain's assistant. Doc was the first member of the G.I. Joe medical team, and possibly the only one with a terminal degree; his M.D. Doc is a graduate of Harvard Medical School and completed his residency at Johns Hopkins to become a full medical doctor. He also completed training at the Airborne School, Mountaineering School and the Desert Training Unit. He is an avowed pacifist for practical reasons, in accordance with the Geneva Convention guidelines for battlefield medics.
Description: Tele-Vipers get to have the latest technology in radio telecommunications. Apart from the standard modular radio pack, their gear includes a automatic frequency hopper, cryptography unit, and jamming/anti-jamming equipment. Their helmets come equipped with high-resolution earphones and they get to use dual microphones. That may all be impressive and all but do they get any respect? The helmet's visor is capable of giving LED readouts that's triggered by a computer pack installed onto their radio gear. That readout is visible to anyone he's in front of is a source of jokes for other Cobras.

Shipwreck grew up near the San Diego Navy Yards and enlisted in the Navy at sixteen after getting permission from his parents. In the two-part Sunbow episode "There's No Place Like Springfield", he revealed he lied about being the minimum age of seventeen in order to join.
Description: Zandar is a world-class master of camouflage and covert movement, which means he’s an expert at hiding and sneaking up on people. He is so talented at it that he often does it in plain sight. Despite his garish outfit, he somehow manages to make himself unnoticeable until it is too late for his intended target. It is a skill he has worked to near perfection. We don't know why he chose this particular ability. Maybe his siblings' more dominant personalities pushed him at the back so he decided to be the best at hiding?
