The burying ground was established in 1792, and the interred include Governor Benjamin Smith, the town’s original namesake and former North Carolina governor, General Robert Howe, another hero of the Revolutionary War, and centuries of soldiers, shipwreck victims, and more. Description: Canon Rebel T3i. Georgetown is the third oldest city in South Carolina, following Charleston and Beaufort, Georgetown was founded in 1729 and became an official port of entry in 1732. Georgetown is a place for strolling live oak tunneled streets, shopping at the unique shops, and taking a break from the daily grind. An older gentleman relaxing and enjoying the peaceful city. Description: WWII leaflet dropped on Japanese occupied Philippines warning the population that the Allied invasion will begin soon. The reverse of the leaflet had instructions for the Filipinos to stay away from all Japanese held positions and to move as far inland as possible. The design is available in white or deep blue.
