Burano is a lovely little island close to Venice and it is famous for it's painted houses. Legend has it that the fishermens wives used to paint the outsides of their houses while their men were at sea, so that they would remember them and find their way home safely. It used to be a fishing and lace making island, but now it is more of a tourist attraction. As you can see, I went there on a rainy day, but it still had a lot of charm. Edited in PhotoshopCC and Topaz.

Spot Obsessions Different design compared to my usual, but it still has a story behind it. I was obsessed with Dalmatian’s and the film 101 Dalmatian’s while growing up as a child, my family always hoped the obsession would go away, but even now in my 30s I still love the spotty pattern! So it only seemed right I draw and make my own one. Hope this spotty design brings as much joy to you as it does to me!
