The Doctor Mugs
Description: It's another Tarot inspired design, this time it's a fake The Doctor card. It shows the plague doctor who treated victims of the bubonic plague. In the 17th, 18th, and 19th centuries, some doctors wore a beak-like mask which was filled with aromatic items. The masks were designed to protect them from putrid air, which (according to the miasmatic theory of disease) was seen as the cause of infection. I gave it the numer 911, because that's the number you're gonna call when in a need for a doctor, isn't it? :)
Description: For most of his life, the Doctor was able to successfully project a convivial and even frivolous front. However, when he had to engage in conflict, the Doctor's energies would shift to reveal a fiercely protective man who resolutely guarded what he held dear, and who could be viciously unforgiving to the forces that dared menace them.
