This beautiful phalaenopsis orchid grows on my palm tree. The blooms are spectacular. A creamy white with yellow centers and yellow buds. Also known is a moth orchid. It loves the South Florida climate.

The cannonball flowers & fruits grow en masse from short stalks and appear to grow right out of the trunk of the large tree. The fruits when falling to earth often do so with loud & explosive noises.
