The aparatus which puts the nets over the vines is on the back of a 4WD. Its spectacular to watch.The nets cover 4 rows at a time and are taken off before picking.

There is nothing worse than being put in a box! How confining! . I'm a tonal realist portrait painter! It IS a VERY specific genre! There is NOTHING like an original painted work!!! These are portraits which tell the story of the person in the painting the origials will last 100s of years... It’s my favourite thing to make because its also the most fun for the person in the portrait! My original commissioned works are in Corporate and Private collections, Aust, USA, Hong Kong, these are not, or will EVER be prints online!! I also like to make other works here is a selection.

Pinot Noir grapes close to vintage at Magpie Springs. These grape bunches are a dence cluster recognizably different in structure to Merlot bunches which are much looser.

Vintage is a critical time of the year.Years work goes into producing fruit. Its always a miraculous transformation when the nets go on. Pre vintage we have to save our fruit from bird strike!
