Our vineyard, homestead, art gallery and cellar door in the centre of the Fleurieu Peninsula is nestled back from B34, the main road from Hahndorf to Willunga Hill. In his 20's my husband built a cottage in the Grampians on a 40 acre property in natural scrub. The view from the front windows is a majestic scene of the Northern Grampians hill face which would catch the light in the morning. Family stayed from time to time over the years. It had no electricity - it was always an adventure going to visit. The Grampians in Victoria offers the most wonderful bush walks..... we often went in winter and would see no one for a week..... I went for the first time at 19..... the next generation also have fond memories of this place.
