Designed by Yosef, public domain, via PPPA. This is a wartime security poster produced around Israel’s 1948 War of Independence. Its design is mid-century modern graphic style that draws on European modernist and expressionist poster traditions. It uses bold, simplified silhouettes, a limited high-contrast palette, and direct pictorial symbolism for a clear public safety message. Using a variety of graphic design tools, I created a restored and enlarged reproduction of this historical Israeli poster, based on a rare photo of the original poster in an archive.
