Little Sark joined to the Isle of Sark by a track with sea each side of it.

Built and launched in Scotland in 1869, she carried tea from China to London between 1870 and 1877. By the 1880s, she was carrying wool from Australia. That's when her reputation for speed was achieved. Taking advantage of the high speed winds along the route from Australia that sailors call the "roaring trades", she set a record of 73 days on the Sydney to London Route.

Crossing La Coupee Number of views as of 27th June 2018 = 775. La Coupee is a narrow strip of land, just 10 feet (3 metres) wide, connecting the island of Sark (in the Channel Islands) and the peninsula of Little Sark. There are no motor cars on Sark, only tractors and horse-drawn transport. Here, one of the island's horsemen negotiates the narrow causeway. This has to be done at quite a speed to give the vehicle enough momentum to get up the slope behind me. And with a sheer drop of 260 feet (80 metres) either side, there is little margin for error.
