I had the good fortune of being able to travel to Peru to visit the Sacred Valley and partially trek the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu. It was a grueling 4-day hike at high atltitudes which was especially foriegn to me having spent my entire life on the Canadian Prairies! But as ardouous as it was, the trek was worth it to see the specacular views the Sacred Valley has to offer!
