Pier Giorgio Merch
Description: Frassati hiking meets Catholic devotion in this mountain summit emblem honoring Saint Pier Giorgio Frassati. A back facing hiker stands beneath sunrise rays, surrounded by hand drawn mountain lines and bold cream serif lettering. The circular badge style and high contrast black, cream, and tan palette make this a meaningful choice for Catholic hikers, pilgrims, youth ministry members, and outdoor faith communities.
Description: A circular emblem featuring a mountain range against a sunrise backdrop with four white doves in flight. The outer ring contains the text "TO THE TOE TOP TO THE TOP TO TOP TO THE TOP". Below the mountains, it reads "Bl. Pier Giorgio Frassati" and "VERSO L'ALTO" in large capital letters with a yellow outline.
Description: Translated literally from the Italian, "verso l'alto" simply means "to the top" or "towards the heights." The phrase comes from an iconic picture of Blessed Pier Giorgio Frassati as he is scaling the side of a cliff. Frassati had scribbled the phrase on the picture after it had been printed by a friend. Metaphorically, however, the phrase means, "orient your entire life toward God." In all that you do, in all that you are, seek the path that leads you to God. Blessed Pier Giorgio is a beautiful witness to living out this mantra.
