I suffer from a genetic disorder (Ehler’s Danlos Syndrome) that causes cervical cranial instability. Inappropriate motion compresses the nerves that provide sensation to one side of my face. This illustration is an examination of the idea that healthy is boring. I would rather look at a dead tree than a living one. That’s where all the beasties hide! Families make homes in dead trees. Living trees are self-interested, and therefore less hospitable.
