Mostly Blue Collage called Scrabble, Anyone? an exercise in re-use, re-purpose, recycle using dryer sheets and hand wipes, by Conni Schaftenaar A couple of years ago I created a 3D iris out of hand wipes. This type of material interests me, and I had also started saving dryer sheets to play with. I took several of them and painted them different shades of blue, using watercolor pigments, and let them dry. I also painted a hand wipe that I had rinsed clean of its cleaner. A friend tells me this makes her think of a Scrabble board, so I decided to pay homage to that with the title.
