Description: 1956 Thunderbird with the Continental Kit option. 1956 was the second production year for the sport Thunderbird. The continental kit was added to the rear and portholes in the detachable hardtop. The car also has a folding convertible top. The Thunderbird was Ford's response to Chevrolet's Corvette. When the Thunderbird was introduced in 1955, it outsold the more expensive Corvette by 24 to 1. California car show.
