Description: For 1967, the GT350 carried over the K-Code high performance 289 with a 'COBRA' aluminum hi-rise. The GT500 was added to the lineup, equipped with a "Ford Cobra" FE Series 428 cu in (7.0 L) V8 engine with two 600 CFM Holley four-barrel carburetors sitting atop a mid-rise aluminum intake manifold.
Description: In 1965 Pontiac promoted their new GTO and Hurst Performance Products. The contest was based on special album recorded by The Tigers and the grand prize was a special 1965 Pontiac GTO named “GeeTO Tiger”. It was specially equipped with over 28 factory options and had special Hurst Gold body paint, Hurst mag wheels, even gold-plated Hurst Shifter, Tri-Power 4-speed gearbox, suspension package, power steering, power brakes, etc. GeeTO Tiger was specially designed for the contest. Ace Wilson's Royal Pontiac dealership campaigned numerous race prepped GTO's over the years and they were well known as drag strip killers.
