This George Orwell 1984 design is inspired by Orwell's paranoid masterpiece and the classic film that was based upon it. 1984 is a dystopian novel published in June 1949, whose themes centre on the risks of government overreach, totalitarianism and repressive regimentation of all persons and behaviours within society.

Someone didn't care for INGSOC's sign, "Big Brother is watching you," so they added a little commentary in Newspeak. Big Brother is doubleplusungood! Orwell's 1984 is a bit too appropriate for our current political situation. See my other liberal designs in the Feminist and LGBTQ album.

We are all living in the world in which you have to cover your telescreen camera with a piece of duck tape.
