They are very majestic birds and when you have the opportunity to watch them swooping you have to be thrilled by the sheer speed and precision of their dive. I was fortunate to capture this one just before it completed it's dive with it's formidable talons outstretched to capture it's prey. Edited in Photoshop, Topaz and Flaming Pear.

This is my original artwork of a bald eagle spotting a potential meal and coming in for a landing on a farm field.

All is quiet over the misty lake except for the occasional scream of an eagle circling high above. Then suddenly out of nowhere you see the eagle swooping down at great speed, talons outstretched and you know he's going to get that fish. Taken with a Nikon d7000, with 18-200 lens and edited in Photoshop CC and Topaz studio with my own textures.

The misty lake is still and peaceful, a fish glides slowly along just beneath the surface not realising that it has been seen by the eagle who is now in a silent swoop, seconds away from plucking it out of the water.
