Collaged bird painted on fabric on canvas. The fabric had to be stetched and primed with rabbit skin glue and then a compound. After that dried I painted on the bird and painted some with very watered down acrylics and others not. Aluminum Etching Hand painted water color in Cad Red Stonehenge Paper (Off White) I have been experimenting in my studio with copper sulfur and salt, using aluminum. The first bite and print took well, but the second bite the print became a little uneven. This is a print of the first bite. The pink etching is of the second bite.

This is a Woodcut Print. I have originally inked up the wood before I started cutting it. I rolled around 20 plates with different colours. This sets up the background colours. The following week I took the same piece of wood and started carving out the picture of the flowers and the birds. Inked up the plate and placed it over the already dry colour pieces of paper. The end result is about 20 prints, all of which are unique and different. The prints are printed on University Paper with blue denim ink. This painting was called "Soul Sister" and sold in an exhibition I had at a gallery many years ago. The entire show was a series of people and their guitars. This one in particular is a Redbubble member, she sent me a photograph of herself with her guitar. I changed her hair to brunette and darkened the guitar. The painting is sold and now hanging in an Irish pub in Melbourne Australia somehwere!

Two plates Zinc plate inked up in a mix of colours. Second plate rolled leaves from the garden, which bring their own colour to the print when mixed with the ink on the plate. Print made from woodcut print. Tried painting the woodcut like Cressinda Campbell and than printing it by spraying water. This did not work. so than I hand painted the whole print with watercolor paints. Layering day after day. Then outlining with black ink. The result is stunning. I think so anyway! 802 Views as of 21.12.09 This print has been updated on 21/12/09 with a lighter version. Think its better now.
