The City suffered more tremors on december 23rd 2011. The Cathedral was built in the second half of the 19th century. It is located in the centre of the city, surrounded by the plaza of Cathedral Square. It is the cathedral seat of the Bishop of Christchurch. The cornerstone was laid on 16 December 1864, but financial problems in the fledgling city saw its completion delayed between 1865 and 1873. This is an acrylic on board painting original size is 12x16 inches, of a scene in Christchurch taken by Steve Graham. This is my first attempt at an abstract, it's a lot harder than o do than I imagined. The Christchurch Tram is one of the must-do activities in Christchurch. Hop on and off the trams with your all-day ticket to explore the best of the city centre.

Christchurch Priory & St Catherine's Hill A view of the Priory Church of the Holy Trinity (Christchurch, Dorset, England) taken from nearby local landmark Hengistbury Head. Formerly in Hampshire (before the reorganisation of English county boundaries in the 1970s), the Priory is the longest parish church in England, out-measuring over 20 Anglican cathedrals. The Priory was built between AD 1094 and AD 1150, but was built on the site of an earlier church dating from AD 800. The landmass behind the Priory is St Catherine's Hill, part of a ridge of higher ground between the Avon and Stour valleys. Bronze Age and Iron Age remains were found here, and the site was used for military training for many hundreds of years. Date: 4th February 2018.

Stour Valley Way: Christchurch Quay and Priory Number of views as of 9th July 2018 = 425. The town of Christchurch on the south coast of England dates from the 7th century AD. The town was originally called Twynham, but was renamed following the construction of the magnificent priory church in 1094. Formerly in Hampshire, Christchurch is now a Dorset town and has been since the re-organisation of local government and county boundaries in 1974. Date: 13th January 2013.

The new foot and cycle bridge over the River Thames at Reading in Berkshire, England, just upstream from the busy road crossing at Reading Bridge. The footbridge, named Christchurch Bridge as the result of a poll, links Caversham to the north with Reading and in particular the station on the south bank. The change of colors is brilliant, where walkers enjoy walking and biking. Hagley Park has been at the heart of Christchurch since the 1850s when it was set aside for recreation and enjoyment of the people of OtautahiChristchurch.

Springtime and the sweet blossoms are blooming, a highlight for walkers in the beautiful Hagley park of Christchurch.
