Clevedon Pier is one of the jewels of Victorian architecture - the sea of the Bristol Channel unfortunately is never blue but always some sort of dirt brownish color. That day a storm was approaching and the sea suddenly became this strange caramel brown which created a nice contrast with the dark sky and the bright green of the metal railing.

Clevedon pier boasts of a Japanese style Victorian Pagoda (late 19th century) which has been converted into a nice little café. Weather permitting one can even sit outside to enjoy a magnificent view over the Bristol Channel. Weather permitting...! (Nikon Coolpix P510)

I saw these two young people gingerly making their way across the edge of an outdoor swimming pool in Clevedon, near Bristol (UK). They were so engrossed in what they were doing that they didn't look around once. I liked the way in which their reflection is blurred due to the wind disturbing the water but just enough not to completely obscure it. Taken at maximum zoom on my Fuji 602z bridge-type camera.
