The Labrador Retriever is America's number one dog breed. This breed is also one of the most versatile. Be it hunting on the marsh or playing with the kids in the backyard, the labrador retriever will do it's job with enthusiasm. This is the first in my breed art series which will portray the most popular breeds in the United States. I will also be adding more uncommon breeds at request. This is a digital painting done on an iPad Air 2 using the app ProCreate. This painting would look great as a canvas print for a living room or office of the labrador enthusiast. This design came about because everyone loves their dog and usually has a favorite dog breed. Some dog breeds are rarer than others and it can be quite a challenge to find products with certain dog breeds in mind. I am going to try and rectify that and will be making dog breed art for both common and rare dog breeds. Aussies aren't that rare anymore, but when I first got my Aussie many years ago, they were virtually unheard of and there was no products with Aussies in mind.
