Arnold's Restaurant is the name of a popular Milwaukee "greasy spoon"- a local hangout for most of the characters in Happy Days, especially Fonzie, Richie, Potsie, Ralph and their friends and schoolmates.

Zesto was started by entrepreneur and inventor L.A.M. Phelan as a national franchise. Phelan was head of the Taylor Freezer Corporation, which in 1945 had developed the "Zest-O-Mat" frozen custard machine, and franchise agreements granted exclusive use of the Zest-O-Mat machines in a given territory under the Zesto name. The first known Zesto Drive-In was opened in Jefferson City, Missouri in 1949 with dozens more opening throughout the 1950s, mostly in the U.S. South and Midwest. Taylor Freezer Corp, reportedly growing frustrated with managing a retail business and dealing with franchisees, abandoned the Zesto concept in 1955 and left the remaining franchisees to fend for themselves.

Mel's Drive-In is a term referring to two American restaurant chains, successors of a restaurant founded in 1947 by Mel Weiss and Harold Dobbs in San Francisco, California. It is closely associated with the film American Graffiti. There are a number of Mel's in Northern California that share the same general American Graffiti nostalgia theme and the similarly styled Mel's logo. These restaurants are called “Original Mels”. Their locations are not listed on the official Mel's Drive-In website but they have their own website, although an article from the Sacramento Business Journal shows that they're related.

Doggie Diner was a local fast food chain serving hot dogs and hamburgers in San Francisco that operated from 1948 to 1986. At one time there were 30 locations around the San Francisco Bay Area, mostly concentrated in San Francisco and were quite iconic with their giant fiberglass doggie heads on their signs. This version of the Doggie Diner design includes an embellished version of their original logo. This Doggie Diner Vintage design includes a realistic distressing to make it look like an old school original, but if you'd like a new looking version, check out my shop as I've got one!

Big Kahuna Burger is a fictional chain of Hawaiian-themed fast food restaurants that has appeared in movies including Death Proof, Four Rooms, Pulp Fiction, From Dusk Till Dawn, The Adventures of Sharkboy and Lavagirl, and Reservoir Dogs. The most notable appearance of the chain has got to be when Jules and Vincent pay a visit to Brett, leading to Jules absconding with Brett's Big Kahuna Burger. "Mmm-mmmm. That is a tasty burger. Vincent, ever have a Big Kahuna Burger?" Big Kahuna Burger is one of my most popular designs, so I revisited it to create a v2 version that gives it an updated look. This version is distressed to give it a realistic vintage look, but I've got a squeaky clean version in the shop as well.

Mel's Diner in Phoenix, Arizona was the setting in the TV show, Alice, that aired on CBS from August 31, 1976 to March 19, 1985. The series is based on the 1974 film Alice Doesn't Live Here Anymore. The diner exterior footage was all shot at the actual Mel's Diner on Grand Avenue in Phoenix, while the interior was all shot on sets in Burbank. This version of the Mel's Diner is clean and new, but I've also got a version that includes a realistic vintage treatment to give it true retro look like you picked it up back in 1976.
