Krazy Kat Pins and Buttons
Description: Show off your love of rare classic animation with this vintage, movie-poster-style design featuring Svengarlic, the 1931 Columbia Pictures Krazy Kat cartoon. This hilarious short is a garlic-powered parody of the Svengali film, starring a wild wolf hypnotist who uses his breath to control Krazy Kat’s girlfriend, turn her into a singing star, and watch Krazy try to save the day with pure slapstick chaos. The design captures the bold, high-contrast 1930s cartoon aesthetic with the manic wolf in a tuxedo and cape, swirling garlic fumes, the trance-like spaniel singer, and a shocked early Columbia-style Krazy Kat holding a paintbrush on a theatrical stage. Description: Vintage circus-poster design featuring Krazy Kat and Ignatz Mouse under the big top. Drawn in the spirit of George Herriman’s classic comic strip and old American lithograph show bills: cream paper texture, woodtype lettering, red-and-white tent, and Ignatz mid-brick. Krazy stands in the ring with a lovestruck grin. Ignatz, the skinny brick-hurling mouse, is already winding up. Hearts, ZIP, POW, and a “Stupendous Spectacle” banner complete the bill. A wear-soft graphic for comic-strip fans, silent-era and 1920s poster collectors, circus nostalgia, and anyone who knows a brick to the head can be a love letter. Public-domain characters from Herriman’s early Krazy Kat strips. Independent fan design — not official merchandise.
