Why is Jesus the bread of life? Jesus invites us to go beyond the human horizon and to open ourselves to the horizon of God, to the horizon of faith. Jesus does not give anything, he gives himself: He is the 'True Bread, come down from Heaven', He, the Living Word of the Father, and it is in the encounter with Him that we welcome the living God.
