Water Hazard Pins and Buttons

This fella....or lady (I'm not particularly experienced in determining the sex of alligators.....actually, to be completely honest - I'm not at all experienced!) was basking on a golf course in Patterson Louisiana. The sun glints on an alligator basking on dried grass with a small pond behind it. Although not shown in the photograph, this was taken on a golf course in Patterson, Louisiana.
