In 2017, Philadelphia's Pride organizers added two new stripes to the front/top of the classic Pride flag. One unnamed organizer explained, "The black and brown stripes are an inclusionary way to highlight black and brown LGBTQIA members within our community,”

The classic and well known gay pride flag needs no explanation. Although we personally prefer the newer "Philadelphia" version (available here as well!), many still consider the standard six-color flag as the catch-all flag for the LGBTQ community.

Someone who is agender sees themselves as neither man nor woman, has no gender identity, or no gender to express.

Polyamory can be an open relationship or it can be three or more people all in a relationship together. Polyamorous is not a sexuality, but a description on how someone experiences attraction. Polyamorous people can have any sexuality.

A woman, or woman-aligned person, who is exclusively attracted to women and woman-aligned people.

Someone who identifies as androgynous exhibits both male and female characteristics and consider themselves both genders, but not necessarily in equal parts

A polysexual individual experiences sexual attraction to many, but not all genders.

A demisexual is someone who does not experience sexual attraction until/unless they have formed a deep emotional connection with someone.

An omnisexual experiences sexual attraction to all genders. Some people who identify as omnisexual may have a preference to one gender or another, or they may be equally attracted to all genders, but they may feel the act of being attracted to one gender feels different than the act of being attracted to another gender.

Bisexual individuals are people who are attracted to two or more genders- mostly men and women, though it does not have to be. Bisexual people can be attracted to any genders.

Non-Binary is an umbrella term for any gender identity which does not fit the man and woman binary.
