Coen Brothers Posters and Art Prints
Description: The Dude is mostly inspired by Jeff Dowd, an American film producer and political activist the Coen brothers met while they were trying to find distribution for their first feature, Blood Simple. Dowd had been a member of the Seattle Seven, liked to drink white Russians, and was known as "The Dude". The Dude was also partly based on a friend of the Coen brothers, Peter Exline, a Vietnam War veteran who reportedly lived in a dump of an apartment and was proud of a little rug that "tied the room together".
Description: Retro-inspired Raising Arizona tee! Featuring a vintage desert-scape design, the film’s title in bold lettering, and the iconic final quote, ‘I don’t know. Maybe it was Utah,’ this shirt is a love letter to the Coen Brothers’ quirky, heartfelt comedy. Perfect for fans of H.I. and Ed’s wild baby-napping adventure, offbeat humor, or anyone who loves a good road trip vibe. Whether you’re quoting Nathan Jr.’s antics, laughing at Gale and Evelle’s escapades, or just dreaming of the Arizona desert, this tee is your ticket to cinephile cool. A must-have for movie nights, road trips, or casual days where your outfit says, ‘I’m a fan of the Coens’ chaotic charm.'
