This work of art depicts a man loving his horse. It’s a 9” x12” sized illustration designed in colored pencils on Strathmore. The art was inspired by childhood memories of my great grandfather’s farmland in Wake Forest, NC (Walker Farm). As a little girl, I used to play on the equipment of tractors and old horse stables. Today, the land is a public park (Joyner Park), serving the residents of Wake Forest and surrounding communities.
