Celebrate the LA River!

Inspired by the words of Los Angeles River Acitivist Lewis MacAdams when he and a group of activists cut a hole in the chain link fence that had been used to barracade the public from the LA river for decades. Today many activists are fighting to revitalize the LA River while fighting for the rights of current residents to use and enjoy the improved environment. I'll be donating the artist's margins for this design to organizations working towards a river for the people.

From the Eastsider, "Steelhead trout used to swim up and down the L.A. River. Downstream to the salty Pacific Ocean to grow and live, then upstream toward the cold fresh waters of the San Gabriel Mountains to spawn. Back and forth, north and south, from the beginning of recorded history until 1940. That’s the last documented time that a steelhead trout was caught there. And now, after more than 80 years, the city is trying to bring the trout back to the L.A. River." Show your support for the LA River and the return of the Steelhead Trout to their natural breeding grounds. Don't call it a comeback, they've spawned here for years.

A New City "Londangeles" a combination of cities where I was born and where I live. As a professional musician of 30 years I have combined my love of music and art to produce musically themed images and other images that I hope will offer inspiration to the viewer.
