Marine Port Posters and Art Prints

The city of Port Arthur began as the dream of railroad man Arthur Stilwell, who envisioned it as a trade and tourism center. By the time the city was incorporated in 1898, Stilwell had founded the Port Arthur Channel and Dock Co., which welcomed its first ship to the port of Port Arthur the following year. In just two years, oil was discovered in nearby Beaumont, kicking off the Spindletop boom that would see Port Arthur become the biggest oil refining locale in the world by the mid-20th century. In 1948 the town held its Golden Jubilee celebration, 50 years after its incorporation as a city which centered around a parade with drummers marching down Procter Street trailed by floats, including one with the Golden Jubilee queen and her court.

Fort Worden Historical State Park in Port Townsend is a great destination for the day or for a long camping trip. This particular image is the Port Townsend Marine Science Center, with an amazing array of programs for all ages. At this beautiful park, people fly kites, sunbathe, beachcomb, sailing, camp out, visit historic officer's quarters, and just enjoy the beautiful Pacific Northwest scenery. This image is my original photo with painterfly watercolor effects applied.

Fast boat Portsmoth Harbour Ferry Terminal

The Marina of Empuriabrava, for many, it is the heart of the Costa Brava (Spain). In addition, it is the maritime symbol of the region, because in Empuriabrava is located one of the largest ports with canals for private yachts and boats. The painting shows a lighthouse on a pier. Above the lighthouse there is a symbol of the town – a sailboat with oars. This work, like most of my other works, stands out with bright colors. I've always liked bright colors. Sometimes I see them where others do not notice. And I want to show this in my paintings... The world is full of colors and beauty!
