Photo of sunset over Lake Erie, through a hole in a beach brick. Long ago, there was a brick company on the lake. They dumped their waste into the lake and the bricks are slammed against the rocks by waves, making them smooth, hence the rounded corners. A spade symbol, the symbol for life and wisdom, also a bird symbol...created from the word, "create". This began with an abstract painting I uploaded into a digital program and turned it into the word, create. Then I used a program to turn it into this symbol.

Dandelion love is my original digital artwork. This is my photo of a spent dandelion superimposed on a background of abstract art in purple and white.

This is my original painting of a winking sun and products with this unique design. I recently met a young lady with a great attitude. She'd overcome many things and is still facing some real challenges but refuses to let everything stop her from achieving her goals. She wanted me to paint a sun similar to my work, "Slumbering Moon"--a moon with a face. I painted it and decided to give it a wink...a celestial face with an approving expression that says "you've got this one!" I believe her attitude will get her to the places she wants to go in this world and will help her continue to overcome any challenges on the journey before her.

I like to look at clouds to find shapes and faces. I found one that looked a lot like a dragon, so I created what I saw. I used colored pencils and paint in the original, then used a computer program to enhance the color and add some other touches.

I created this dragon for my great nephew, Jason, hence the name.

Lake Erie beaches are home to stone-washed bricks. Long ago, a brick company in Ohio used to dump their waste into the great lake. The bricks have been tossed around by waves and tumbled upon the rocks of the lake, resulting in these smooth-edged beach bricks. I'm going to make mine into candle holders.
