I joined Thames Division in The metropolitan Police in the 1970's. This was the sort of police boat I started learning to cox. It was a single screw boat, with a perkins diesel engine. A tough little boat that could take all the knocks and had a towing post for pulling drifting barges and broken down boats. Oil on a small canvas board

Searching for a body the police diving team in Victoria Docks London. I was one of the divers, this is in my book.

As acpoliceman working on the river Thames, I did many paint8ngbabout the Rivervand my work. This is just one of a police duty boat used in the 1980s to 90s.

This image was captured in 2019 on the off chance I would get a sunset. Didn't see the sunset but then the sky lit up like this and I couldn't believe my luck.
