This unique design features the flag of New Zealand painted on an aggressive skull. The New Zealand colors cover the entire skull with large cracks snaking across the bone. This dark pattern is a unique way to show off your patriotism.

Fantails, also know by the Maori name Piwakawaka, are wonderful birds, friendly, active and agile. The birds in this print are drawn incorporating Maori Koru patterns. The koru (Māori for “loop”) is a spiral shape based on the shape of a new unfurling silver fern frond and symbolizing new life, growth, strength and peace. The tones of brown and white are inspired by the true colours of the fantail.

New Zealand is about to spend 27.5 million dollars on two referendums because the Union Jack is so 1990’s. A group of “respected New Zealanders”will sit on a Flag Consideration Panel. These poor sods only get paid $650 per day, better not quote me on that I am too lazy to look it up. Anyway I just knocked this design up, it is a clear winner. I just saved our rock star economy 27 odd million. No more two minute noodles for us.

6 New Zealand birds. I drew these out as a mural a few years ago. Recently I decided to remake them graphically, it was a fun project for me. Revisiting my old work using technology to improve and refine my early work. I used Koru patterns. The koru (Māori for "loop" is a spiral shape based on the shape of a new unfurling silver fern frond and symbolizing new life, growth, strength and peace. New Zealand has so many wonderful birds, we are lucky to have them. Featuring Takahe, Kiwi, Fantail, Silvereye, Rock Wren, and Tomtit. A great gift for a Kiwi who misses home, or even one that you want to remind how great home is.

This unique design features the flag New Zealand on a beautiful butterfly. The flag contours to the details in the wings and curves around the body of the butterfly giving it a realistic look. The edges of the wings are painted black which frames the New Zealand flag inside of the pattern. This wonderful flying creature is a perfect combination of nature and patriotism.

Ngati Pakiha. Just a bit of fun really. Some New Zealanders refer to themselves as Ngati Pakiha. This is a reference to a Maori tribe name that does not exist. Pakiha is the Maori word for European New Zealanders. Aotearoa is the Moari Name for New Zealand, It means Land Of The Long White Cloud.
