Northumberland Park in North Shields was opened in 1885 and still has many of the old Victorian characteristics including a medieval herb garden, a band stand and a butterfly meadow. This image was shot on a cold April morning and shows the duck pond and a small cherry tree in blossom.

Tynemouth Long Sands is a beautiful stretch of beach. This blue flag beach is a popular all year round tourist attraction offering mile long walks across golden sands past dunes and rock outcrops. This image was shot on a cold, sunny October morning with the impressive St Georges Church in Cullercoats reflecting on the wet sand.

The Spanish City in Whitley Bay on the North East coast of England as it prepares for business on an dark November morning. The complex opened in 1910 and a ballroom was added in 1920 but it fell into disrepair and was neglected for many years until a Heritage Lottery Grant enabled it to re-open in July 2018 as a dining and leisure centre.
