Feral goats are an integral component of the ecosystems of the Burren limestone karst region in the West of Ireland where I live. The silhouettes feature different habitats in the area. My goat 'Ally' served as the 'model'. I made this for a T-shirt for a friend who takes care of my animals when I'm away but it has proved popular on Society6.

Ode to Drunk Distance

When I created this work I wanted to express peace, tranquility and security. I hint at a human figure that is with his hands tied in the back, from which his neck is seen in the central part, his shoulder, forearm and arm between the center and the right part, where we only get to see his wrist. Finally, it represents the knowledge achieved by the human civilization and the sacrifices that have been made for its evolution.
