I made this originally for Cinco De Mayo, but I had some stuff pop up, and I couldn't post this right away. But I wanted to make an original piece inspired by most Latin folk art I see cause it's just super beautiful, and I was moved.

This is another of my flag hybrids. The sun plays a prominent role in both the Japanese and Argentinean flag, so I pondered what the transposing of said symbol in its original aesthetics from one to the other would look like? I hope you like it.

My third and last Japan-Argentina hybrid. The sun plays a prominent role in both the Japanese and Argentinean flag, so I pondered what the transposing of said symbol in its original aesthetics from one to the other would look like? In this case, I took the layout and dimensions of the Imperial Japanese Navy's flag and transposed the red of Japan with Argentina's sky blue, and changed the rising sun itself with Argentina's "sol de mayo". I think this might be my favourite of the three.

I hope you like it. The celestial blue colour of the Argentine flag adds an interesting contrast.
