Square Window Posters and Art Prints

The Fourth plinth is the northwest plinth in Trafalgar Square in central London. It was originally intended to hold an equestrian statue of William IV; but is used as a short-term art space. Works are commissioned and are usually outrageous and controversial. Inspiration was the ‘Gift Horse’. I was a skeletal, riderless horse in bronze and sat on the 4th plinth in 2005.

The East Window designed by Arts and Craft Movement icon Sir Edward Burne-Jones above the altar in Holy Trinity Sloane Square, an Anglican church in Sloane Street in Kensington & Chelsea, central London SW1.

On top of a hill on the South Coast of Brittany, France, stands this derelict house which offers a lovely view of the coast.

The tower of Carriden Church seen through one of the windows of the ruin of Carriden Old Church. The Church and ruin are at Carriden, Bon'ess, Falkirk District, Scotland. Carriden Old Church was built in 1766 to replace the medieval church adjacent to Carriden House. It is T-shaped in plan and finished in simple Georgian style. An aedicule was attached to the north side of the building in 1771 to protect the monument to Sir William Maxwell of Carriden. A tower with a spire and a session house were added around 1840. When the new church was opened in 1909 the roof was taken off the old one and it is now a picturesque ruin. Three bracketed JPGs converted to HDR in Photomatix Pro. BEST VIEWED LARGER
