Summer In Glacier Np Posters and Art Prints

The Perito Moreno Glacier ends in Lake Argentino near the town El Calafate in Argentina. I have visited the place in Summer and were also with a boat on both sides of the glacier. The glacier is hitting the eastern shore of the lake and forms an ice bridge which regularly colapses. Last time in March 2016 (next time in 2020?). The Perito Moreno Glacier is approx. 30 km (19 mi) long, 5 kilometres (3 mi) wide, and about 70 m (227 ft) high (from lake water level). Canon EOS 60D, 1/160 s, f13, 15 mm, ISO 100.

It had been raining quite heavily, but as the day was ending, the Sun made a valiant effort to break through the clouds Coming in over the Grinnell Glacier, the Sun shone through the clouds and mist to produce a wonderful glow over the trees in the distance.
