At the Battle of Milvan Bridge, this sign was said to have appeared to Constantine in the sky accompanied by the words "IN HOC SIGNO VINCES", meaning "BY THIS SIGN SHALT THOU CONQUER". Constantine's men painted the Chi-Rho (The monogram of Christ), on their shields and won the battle.

Based on an image of a Templar knight, he renounced personal wealth and grew his beard as per the templars code, only to be burnt at the stake by a corrupt king on Friday the 13th. The Knights Templar, or simply as Templars, was a military order recognised in 1139 by papal bull Omne Datum Optimum of the Holy See. Templar knights, in their distinctive white mantles with a red cross, were among the most skilled fighting units of the Crusades.
