Pow Pow Merch
Description: The Vietnam War POW/MIA issue concerns the fate of United States servicemen who were reported as missing in action (MIA) during the Vietnam War and associated theaters of operation in Southeast Asia. The term also refers to issues related to the treatment of affected family members by the governments involved in these conflicts. Following the Paris Peace Accords of 1973, 591 U.S. prisoners of war (POWs) were returned during Operation Homecoming. The U.S. listed about 2,500 Americans as prisoners of war or missing in action but only 1,200 Americans were reported to have been killed in action with no body recovered. Many of these were airmen who were shot down over North Vietnam or Laos.

Description: Comic book style sound. Great for comic lovers or people who often get punched in the face. What you might see in the comics if someone gets hit in the face. A POW! is a hit or strike forcefully with a sharp blow, a largely onomatopoeia term that describes the sound of a hit or strike, possibly against the flesh of the face... may also be used to signify an explosion or other loud noise.
Description: Of the remaining 1,246 Americans still unaccounted for in Vietnam, 470 are in a “non-recoverable” category. This means that as a result of rigorous investigation, we have conclusive evidence the individual perished, but do not believe it possible to recover his remains. On rare occasions, new leads can arise that bring a case back to an active status.
