Description: Sacrifyx was an obscure European black metal band who dabbled in the occult and considered themselves accomplished demonologists. The Dark Book was the sole LP album released by the band just before they (supposedly) were all perished in a mysterious plane crash. The album was even more mysterious than the band themselves and was rumored to contain instruction for conjuring demons and opening the gates of hell itself to bring about the end times of hell on earth. The Dark Book made an appearance in the 1987 movie 'The Gate' and played a role in the movie's storyline.
