Description: Better Call Saul is a spin-off of Breaking Bad, a popular crime drama television series that ran from 2008 to 2013. It is primarily a prequel that focuses on Jimmy McGill, a former con artist aiming to gain respectability as a public defender, and chronicles his gradual transformation into his eventual Breaking Bad persona of Saul Goodman, the flamboyant criminal lawyer with ties to the drug cartel. Most of the show takes place over the six-year period before the events of Breaking Bad, spanning approximately 2002 to 2008. Jimmy is motivated by his older brother's success to finish college and complete a Juris Doctor degree through a correspondence law school, the fictitious University of American Samoa.

The case played an important role in the early legal career of Jimmy McGill, who had originally uncovered evidence of wrongdoing. However, he was compelled to turn the case over to Hamlin, Hamlin & McGill, his brother Chuck's law firm, which partnered with the firm of Davis & Main in litigating the case for the plaintiffs. Sandpiper Crossing was represented by Schweikart & Cokely.

Description: Three shorebirds work the foamy surf line on a wide, windswept beach, shells scattered across the sand and waves rolling in under a gray coastal sky. A serene snapshot of everyday life on the shore — unhurried, wild, and free. Great for birders, beach wanderers, and coastal nature lovers.
Description: This is my watercolor and ink painting of a pair of sandpipers in the surf. The birds exhibit detailed brown and white plumage against a soft sky backdrop. I was inspired to paint these small shorebirds from seeing many over the years from our Florida vacations. They have slender legs and often have a distinctive bobbing behavior. This painting is part of my Florida Watercolors Collection.
