David Cross Shorts
Description: In David Cronenberg's 1983 film, Videodrome, there is a Catholic style inner-city shelter in downtown Toronto called the Cathode Ray Mission. Its purpose is to help what looks like homeless people get reintegrated into normal, everyday working life. But you soon learn that the people go to the mission are not really without homes so much as without televisions. What possible reason could there be for that? In order to patch the "derelicts" back into the world of normalization, they must be treated by exposure to television. So they come to Cathode Ray for their TV "fix" because after all, love comes in at the eye.
Description: Anyway, here's a map of Europe we drew. We would have went more places but there was only 4 beanbags. An even more obscure Mr. Show reference: the map from the end of the "Frankly, Anne" sketch on a trip to Europe for the show "Culture Hunt". A shirt for maybe 3 people, enjoy!
Description: The religious iconography of the cross, star of david, & the star and crescent symbols arranged into a kind of hammer and sickle type depiction that has been placed into the blue square background of the traditional American Flag. This modern depiction of the Party Flag of the Democratic Socialists of America is on the front of the T-shirt, with the Justice Democrats -sometimes called Progressives- shield symbol on the back of the T-shirt.
