Here Lies Shorts
Description: A thought-provoking symbolic design featuring two reporters laying flowers at a tombstone marked “Here Lies Freedom of The Press.” Newspapers, a camera, and a traditional quill represent the changing history of journalism and news reporting, while the memorial imagery invites a larger question: What happens when people believe an independent press is disappearing? Designed as social commentary rather than a statement about any particular politician, party, or news organization, this piece is for journalists, reporters, media professionals, journalism students, First Amendment enthusiasts, and anyone interested in the role of a free press in society. A free press shouldn't need a memorial.
